Assemblies Of God Movement - Ramaphosa welcomes you!

1 Corinthians 15 : 1 - 4 “Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,  and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain.  For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,”

 Ramaphosa Assemblies of God Movement:

It is our passion to share the Word of God and share our experiences of walking with God with you. If you need a prayer, counselling, etc, contact us. We will be answering your questions, giving advices, praying with you.

 We believe;

That God’s purpose concerning man is (a) to seek and to save that which is lost, (b) to be worshiped by man, (c) to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, and (d) to demonstrate His love and compassion for all the world. That these believers, saved and called out of the world, constitute the Body or Church of Jesus Christ built and established upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.

You can contact us by fax, e-mail, and we will also keep in touch on facebook.

God is great, All the time.

The founder of the Assemblies Of God Movement (Back to God Crusade)

Nicholas Bhengu was one of the most successful twentieth-century Pentecostal church leaders in South Africa. He was born on 5 September 1909 at Entumeni, KwaZulu-Natal, where his father was a pastor of the American Lutheran Mission. He received his early education at the mission school but later attended two Roman Catholic schools, at Inkumama and Mariannhill respectively (Dubb 1976, 9).

By 1959 there were 50 assemblies that had been started through the ministry of Bhengu. He himself retained some control over the new churches and continued to work as an evangelist in the expanding work until his death in 1985. According to Anderson (1992, 87) these wholly Black churches were 'autonomous, self-governing, self-supporting and especially self-propagating'. In 1990 the churches which had been under Bhengu's leadership were renamed the Assemblies of God Movement.
